The author of the final Oklahoma Reads Oklahoma Book, Fire in Beulah, continues her tour around the state to discuss her work with Oklahoma readers. Rilla Askew will be speaking about her novels and talking about the writing life February through May, 2008. This is the final leg of her tour, and your last chance to meet an Oklahoma Reads Oklahoma author.

Book signings will follow all of Rilla's presentations, and copies of Fire in Beulah, Mercy Seat and her new novel, Harpsong, will be available for sale.

Statewide sponsors for the tour are the Institute of Museum and Library Services, the Oklahoma Department of Libraries, the Oklahoma Humanities Council, and the Oklahoma Centennial Commission.

Plus, each community has rounded up some great local sponsors to bring Rilla to their town!

Here's Rilla's February to May 2008 schedule, with contact phone numbers if you need more information on a local program. Be sure and meet Rilla Askew at a location near you!
